Justin Greenfield, LCSW
People sometimes come into therapy because they do not know exactly what is wrong, just that things do not seem right. I practice psychodynamic therapy in the Object Relations model which focuses on the development of empathy—a process of 'knowing with' between client and therapist—to uncover previously unknown or inaccessible sources of frustration and distress. In this way, psychotherapy can help to approach issues of depression, loss, anxiety, trauma, relationships, and self-esteem with greater self-capacity and potential for change.
