Counseling for Resilience
Do you find yourself bothered by thoughts and emotions that make no sense? Do you have strong reactions and think "where did THAT come from?" You're not alone. Sometimes our brain holds on to experiences that were difficult or distressing from our past and during stressful moments, we get triggered by these seemingly unrelated thoughts and feelings. I help my clients understand how their early experiences shape their current lives. Together, we’ll explore unhelpful thoughts and emotions and develop new, effective ways of interacting with them that bring us Peace.
I specialize in the treatment of adult survivors of childhood trauma. You will find it fascinating to realize how many of your automatic behaviors are survival strategies that you developed as a child. You will explore your “trains of thought” and learn how you can switch tracks and feel safer, happier, and more in control of your life. Virtual only.
I know what it is to be overwhelmed by anxiety, to allow it to fill my brain with swirling, negative thoughts and judgments. I found my way to healing and I can help you to do the same. You deserve to have peace. You deserve to believe in yourself and like yourself. Call or email for a free consultation.
